As part of an English field lecture followed by a wine tasting at the Ott winery, Matthias Strahlhofer from TB Unterfrauner GmbH explained the connection between soil and wine to the international sommeliers and wine journalists present, based on the natural conditions (e.g. geology, terroir) along the loess terraces.
