In a beautiful setting around the Zotter chocolate factory (Styria), the BeeP course series “Combining biodiversity, technology and profitability in fruit and wine growing in practice” explored the topic of soil sampling in wine and fruit growing both in theory and in practice. Matthias Strahlhofer from TB Unterfrauner GmbH showed what needs to be considered when taking samples, how the condition of the soil can be assessed when taking samples and when it makes sense to take and analyze soil samples.

Because: Soil sample analysis only provides knowledge and benefits if the sampling is carried out correctly!
