The contents are adapted regarding the previous knowledge of the participants. During the field days and seminars, the theoretical contents are worked out together. The soil is experienced with all senses (tasting/kneading, smelling, chewing/eating), straightforward testing methods are discussed and taught.
Further advanced training
“Richtig Gießen” – the correct way to irrigate Plants need both a good soil AND a demand-driven water supply to be productive. Wrong irrigation methods can damage soil, crops and further unnecessarily waste valuable water and energy resources. In this context, the advanced training course “Richtig Gießen” was developed by the experienced irrigation specialist Stefan Glaser in collaboration with the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU), Vienna. It is directed to both farmers and gardeners. The course provides knowledge about water in the soil and efficient irrigation methods.
