Information Sheets regarding Soil Analytics
Water-soluble elements
The water-soluble elements of a soil determine the element concentrations in the soil solution, the most important medium for plant nutrition …
Exchangeable elements
Organic and mineral particles have loaded surfaces and attach so-called cations. Under certain conditions these cations can be suppressed (= exchanged) …
Plant available elements
Plant-available elements are accessible to plants during the vegetation period…
Subsequently deliverable Elements / Reserve Fraction
The reserve fraction includes elements which become plant-available through weathering processes within 10 to 15 years…
Phosphorus in the soil
Renowed studies as well as our own research show that most of the agricultural used soils in Europe store enormous reserves of phosphorus. These reserves can be mobilized in a targeted manner…
Information sheets regarding Analytical Programs
Initial Sampling / Basic Characterization
With the Basic Characterization, the dynamic processes in the soil can be recorded and systemically evaluated. From the results obtained, measures and amelioration recommendations are derived to optimize and sustainably preserve soil fertility. This analytical program is recommended to describe the status quo of soil fertility. In addition, changes in farming practices, fertilizer strategies, etc. can be evaluated.
Resampling
The resampling (recommended after 3-5 years) allows to monitor the further development of your soil or to evaluate the implemented amelioration measures. Resampling is only possible after Initial Sampling (Basic Characterization). Two analytical programs are being offered for resampling.
Assessment of Soil
A professional soil assessment examines, among others, the suitability of land and agricultural areas for the intended land use. Physical and chemical parameters are evaluated and a site is assessed with regard to its soil functions…
